Roadmap to Peace (RTP) creates and strengthens community-driven solutions for peacebuilding, violence prevention, and social change. We believe Latinx youth and their families are our greatest assets, and we work to ensure they are honored, respected, and supported by the institutions that impact their lives.
Through youth leadership development, culturally rooted strategies, and collaborative advocacy, RTP helps prepare the next generation of leaders to address community challenges and advance peace. RTP engages in policy and advocacy spaces connected to juvenile justice, public safety, school and community violence prevention, reentry support, immigrant rights, and citywide youth and family well-being initiatives. These spaces include local commissions, advisory bodies, community safety meetings, violence prevention coalitions, and youth-centered advocacy efforts.
RTP participates in coordinated, cross-sector efforts with community partners to support pathways of healing, stability, and opportunity for individuals and families impacted by systemic inequities and community violence. Across these spaces, RTP elevates the voices, experiences, and needs of Latinx youth and families while working collaboratively to advance approaches that are responsive, restorative, and community-centered.
